The S-M7 Helmet is engineered for off-road racing, and is optimized to offer the perfect blend of superior ventilation and comfort in a lightweight helmet, while its supremely aerodynamic composite shell delivers exceptional impact protection. As well as Alpinestars patented A-Head Fitment and Visor Detaching Systems, the S-M7 is equipped with innovative PLASMA technology at the lower side of the shell edge for optimum energy dissipation in case of contact with the collarbone area.

Aerodynamic Design: The S-M7’s aerodynamic profile design offers a smooth, streamlined shell free of any external channels and features that might act as a load point in an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmet’s construction.
Energy-Deflecting Design: The helmet’s curved shell is engineered to reduce friction and deflect impact forces away from the head, helping protect the skull, neck, and spine in the event of a crash.
PLASMA Inside: Alpinestars patented PLASMA technology is strategically-integrated into the S-M7’s side pads for high performance shock absorption in a critical area, significantly reducing the risk of injuries.
A-Head Technology: Alpinestars patented A-Head Fitment System allows easy adjustment of the angle and height that the helmet sits on the head for an optimized performance fit.
Patented Visor Release: The S-M7’s patented Visor Release System is designed to detach during a crash, reducing the risk of helmet damage or rotational injury.
The S-M7’s visor is engineered to automatically detach from the shell when it is subjected to an impact energy greater than 15 Joules for optimum impact protection, regardless of the direction.
Shell Sizing for Optimal Fit: The S-M7 shell sizing solution ensures each helmet fit size delivers the most anatomical solution for the wide variety of fit needs worldwide, providing 3 different helmet shell sizes and 6 consumer sizes from XS to XXL to ensure riders have the correct fit which not only improves comfort and reduces overall weight, but most importantly, improves the effectiveness of the helmet in an impact.
Hydration System Ready: The helmet incorporates integrated channels on both sides to accommodate a hydration system.

Multi-layer shell is constructed from a blend of fiberglass, carbon, and Aramid fiber for the optimum blend of impact protection and force dissipation, sliding performance, energy absorption, stability and durability.
Patented A-Head Fitment System allows easy adjustment of the angle and height that the helmet sits on the head.
Ultra-ventilated helmet with 20 individual intake and exhaust ports, not including the eye port, with 13 intakes and 7 exhausts, for optimum ventilation.
Eject Removal System Ready: the helmet is designed to accomodate the installation of an eject removal system, which includes a removable insert on top of the EPS.
Removable Lining: With a 3D foam for optimum comfort, the lining features an anti-microbial treatment for long-lasting freshness.
The S-M7’s fit can be further customized via the Alpinestars genuine replacement cheek pads, which are available in all thicknesses, and are exchangeable between all shell sizes.
Lightweight: ECE 1280g and DOT 1340g for a size medium.
The S-M7 is available in 2 versions: ECE2206 and DOT homologation standards.

The helmet’s shell construction utilizes a highly advanced molding technology with a pre-preg composite construction that delivers enhanced mechanical performance with an ultra-light overall weight.
The result of the unique shell lay-up process employed in the S-M7 construction results in extremely effective impact protection. The S-M7 returning linear and oblique impact performance significantly exceeds current helmet regulation standard limits.
Specific rotational impact protection is provided by the combination of the internal shape and specific coating of the EPS liner, coupled to specially-developed surface in the comfort liner. This Alpinestars Patented Specific Coating technology reduces rotational acceleration transmitted to the rider’s head: the S-M7 Helmet exceeds the new ECE 22.06 Peak Rotational Acceleration standard by 76%.
