Shane van Gisbergen, the three-time Australian Supercars Champion, brought his A-game to Mexico, snatching pole position and then leading 60 of the race’s 100 laps, including the final 32, easily pulling away from the field to claim the win.
Christopher Bell finished second, Chase Elliott third, Alex Bowman fourth, John Hunter Nemechek sixth and William Byron ninth; all Alpinestars drivers.
