The SMX Next season got underway in Glendale, giving the sport’s rising stars a chance to compete on a premier Supercross track in front of an enthusiastic crowd. Landen Gordon delivered a commanding performance, securing victory after an intense battle that saw the race lead change three times in a single lap.
Landon Hartz was a strong challenger throughout the race but ultimately finished in third place. Reflecting on his ride, Gordon admitted there were areas to improve but remained proud of his effort.
Gordon’s standout performance established him as the rider to beat in the SMX Next class. Hartz secured third place on the podium, while Alpinestars riders Leum Oehlhof, Luke Fauser, Cole Timboe, and Brock Walker rounded out the top ten in fourth, seventh, ninth, and tenth, respectively.
